Real-Time Locating System (RTLS)

Locate your employees.

The TIMATE system enables identification of the working zone where particular employees are located. This information can be used to enhance safety and for access control.

What can you do to enhance safety and access control with the location function?

Locate an employee when an accident occurs

The TIMATE card responds when an accident is detected (e.g. a fall) or when the SOS button is pressed. In a few seconds, it identifies its approximate location in the facility and sends to the system using the RTLS technology (Real-Time Locating Systems). The accident alert provides a reference on the facility map pointing to the approximate location of the event, which makes it easier to reach the injured person.

Monitor who enters particular facility zones

The TIMATE system supports access control, enabling the identification of employees who are currently in any given zone or room. Every minute, TIMATE cards report their approximate location. If an employee has no permission to be in a given zone, his/her card will display a message prompting him/her to leave the zone. Additionally, an access breach alert will be sent to the system.

Use location to identify breaks

Using the locating function, TIMATE can recognise that an employee moves to a place designated for breaks (cloakroom or cafeteria) and counts the break time down to the minute. At this moment, the working time counter stops and the break time counter starts. This solutions enables fully automatic and correct calculation of the actual working time.

Count the number of employees in the facility in real time

It is possible to determine exactly how many employees are currently located in the facility. In the event of evacuation, this function will enable tracking its progress.

Find employees in large facilities

Production halls and warehouses often cover huge areas. Using the interactive visualisation, the manager can see where people are currently working or find particular employees. This information comes useful when it is necessary to pick people for particular tasks.

Monitor the use specific spaces

The TIMATE system uses the location data to create heat maps and comparisons which make it easy to see how particular spaces are used during the working day. In result, it is possible to improve the work organization and prevent excessive gatherings in one area.

Adjust the precision of the locating system depending on your needs

TIMATE cards are not equipped with a GPS module, so they use a radio technology or offline locators for locating purposes. TIMATE is designed in such a way that you can adjust the precision of the locating function without violating the privacy of employees, while achieving the goals of safety support and access control. The precision degrees cover the scope from the entire facility through zones to particular rooms. Location can be identified once every minute or immediately if an accident occurs.

Use offline locator switchboards or battery-powered offline locators to support teams working in the field

If teams of employees in your company work outside the company's premises, you can use the cards' offline mode. You can use CT-ET switchboards operating in locator mode or C1-P battery-powered offline locators, allowing you to report the teams' position to the collected offline data. These locators can be mounted in the field, on buildings or on cars.

Confirm the location of remote workers

A remote workers can provide his/her location data to the system by placing his/her TIMATE card to a smartphone with a GPS module. This allows you to confirm where the employee is when working remotely.
