Providing the company facilities with safety solutions usually required the purchase of many separate systems, which made the implementation complicated and increased the costs. In contrast to the traditional methods of safety support, TIMATE cards monitor safety on an ongoing basis.
People without cards must not be admitted onto the company premises. TIMATE cards functions as employees’ electronic identifiers. They can contain a photo, first name and last name or any other identity data. Such an identified is difficult to forge. Furthermore, the employee data disappear from the card screen after the employee has left the company premises.
On an ongoing basis (once a minute), the TIMATE system provides information about the number of people present on the company premises. In addition, TIMATE sends information about who arrived late to work, who does overtime and who is absent. In the face of a threat it is possible to check how many people are present in the facility.
Production halls and warehouses used in the sectors of logistics and manufacturing are often huge and full of hazardous objects. To ensure safety, it is necessary to know exactly where employees are located at any given moment. On an ongoing basis (once a minute), the card identifies the zones on the company premises where employees are currently located. So when an accident occurs or help is called, it is possible to determine the injured employee’s location.
The TIMATE card can detect a situation when an employee approaches a hazardous zone or a zone that the employee is not authorized to enter. The card displays a message that instructs the employee to move away. The employee’s managers will be notified of the situation.
If an employee presses and holds any button on the card for a few seconds, help will be called. The manager will get an alert that a team member needs assistance. When someone sees an accident or another threat, he or she only needs to press and hold the button to enable the SOS function - it is the quickest method for generating an alarm! The SOS function is active when the card is on the company premises within the range of the TIMATE radio network.
The card is equipped with a free fall sensor, so it detects such situations when an employee jumps off a ramp, falls or trips. The detection function is active when the card is on the company premises within the range of the TIMATE radio network. It is the additional protection for employees and a tool for managers to detect potentially hazardous behaviours and places where they occur. The card is sensitive, so employees must be careful and avoid jumping or tripping, making sure they follow safety rules. An additional incentive to behave safely is the impact of detected hazardous behaviours and unjustified alarms on the employee assessment.
If an accident occurs, the relevant information is sent as a safety alert to the monitoring centre on the server. Then the system decides which manager should receive the notification about the event, including the accident type and its approximate location. An alert is sent in the form of a message to the card or an SMS. After placing the card against a smartphone, the manager uses the NFC function to view alerts and find injured persons on the facility map.
The OHS supervisor has access to the monitoring centre in one window of the TIMATE application. It contains information about safety alerts related to detection of falls, bumps, temperature, faints, SOS calls or breaches of distancing rules. It is possible to create a system of quick response to various situations.
The card ensures good working conditions. It can control temperature and lighting at the work place. It enables checking the temperature in different sections of the company premises at the same time. It can also control the lighting used by employees.
The card reminds blue-collar workers and office employees about the need for a break. Everyone needs breaks and spaces for rest, especially when the outside temperature is very high or extremely low.
More about working timeTIMATE can automatically display messages on the card screen to remind employees they have to wear a helmet or use other personal protective equipment. The system also allows to check in real time whether an employees wears a helmet in the zone where it is required. If an employee fails to use the required protective equipment, a safety alert is generated.
The system enables the analysis of accident reports, including cancelled reports (“nothing happened”). It is possible to detect hazardous spaces through the visualisation of such locations on the facility map. The cards are sensitive as regards detection of free falls, so they recognise jumps off the ramp and other dangerous behaviours. The analysis of locations where such events occur can improve working conditions and enhance safety.
The TIMATE system monitors the number of people present in the facility on an ongoing basis. It is possible to organise evacuation drills and to monitor an actual evacuation. Operating in real time, the system informs about the evacuation from particular facilities, the number of people still present in the facility and the number of people gathered at assembly points. The evacuation time indicators are estimated for particular facilities. In result, evacuation drills are quicker and more effective, which improves the general outcome and saves time.
TIMATE cards can detect a situation when one person approaches another at the distance of approximately 2 metres. The card LED flashes and a message reminding of the need to keep the distance is displayed. The cards actively contribute to limiting hazardous situations when epidemic threats are present. It is possible to generate reports on interactions to easily identify people who should be potentially quarantined.
More about epidemic threatsIf your company uses access control mechanisms, you can integrate TIMATE cards with the existing readers. The cards have a built-in RFID tag (NFC) which can be remotely programmed.
