Safety support

TIMATE supports the organization of OHS activities, the detection of selected events, calling for help, and evacuation drills.

The system provides support, but does not replace safety systems, procedures, or the employer's obligations.

By investing in the TIMATE system, you implement a tool that can provide supporting assistance to selected processes related to work organization and safety in your company.

Equipping a facility with solutions that support work organization and safety often means implementing multiple separate tools, which complicates the process and increases costs. TIMATE integrates multiple tools into one environment and providing data useful for responding to selected events, organizing work, and communicating with employees. The scope of implementation should always be tailored to the purpose, risk, and applicable data protection principles.

How can TIMATE provide supporting assistance for safety organization in your company?

Improve employee identification

The TIMATE card can serve as an electronic employee ID. Only the data needed for identification or work organization can be displayed on the e-Paper screen, for example first name, last name, position, or a photo, if justified by the scope of the implementation. This can make identification of people on site faster and more orderly. The scope of the displayed data should be limited to the minimum necessary for the purpose.

Monitor the number of people present in the facility

The TIMATE system can present real-time information on the number of people present in the facility or in selected zones. This information can support work organization, coordination of activities, and situational awareness, including quick verification of who is present on site when the operational situation requires it.

Check which zone employees are in within the facility

In large production and logistics facilities, quickly knowing which zone an employee is in can support organizational activities and response to events that may affect safety. The TIMATE card can determine an employee's location with the accuracy of a defined facility zone. This solution has a supporting character and should be implemented in a proportionate, transparent, and purpose-adequate manner.

Control access to hazardous zones

The TIMATE card can support traffic organization within the facility by signaling entry into a hazardous zone or a zone not permitted for a given person and by providing relevant information to the employee and designated supervisors. This function can complement existing procedures and safeguards, but does not replace them.

Enable quick requests for help

An employee can use the button on the TIMATE card to send an SOS signal and call for help. The information can be forwarded to designated persons responsible for response within the facility. This function operates within the area covered by the TIMATE network and can shorten the time needed to pass on information, but it does not replace alarm procedures or safety systems intended for a given facility.

Detect selected events that may affect safety

The card can detect selected events such as a fall from a certain height, excessively low or high temperature, and impact with an obstacle (for example when cards are mounted on forklifts). Detection works when the card is within the facility and within the coverage of the TIMATE network. This type of information can provide supporting assistance for faster incident recognition, analysis of higher-risk areas, and preventive actions. Due to the possibility of false alarms, data from such events should always be interpreted with caution and should not constitute the sole basis for evaluating an employee's work. The employee can cancel the notification independently using the button on the card.

Notify the appropriate person about the event

When an event requiring response is registered in the system, TIMATE can send an alert to designated persons together with organizationally useful information, for example about the type of notification and the approximate zone of the event. This facilitates the flow of information and coordination of actions; however, responsibility for response procedures and safety remains with the organization.

Manage safety-supporting alerts in one tool

A person responsible for organizing OHS activities can have access in the TIMATE application to alerts related to selected events, for example SOS notifications, fall information, temperature alerts, or breaches of specified organizational rules. This makes information easier to organize and can support faster response, but it does not mean replacing specialized safety systems.

Monitor environmental conditions in the workplace

System hubs as well as cards can provide supporting data on selected environmental conditions, such as temperature or facility lighting levels, in areas covered by the implementation. This information can support assessment of working conditions and organizational activities, but it does not replace required measurements, inspections, or the employer's obligations arising from OHS regulations.

Support employee rest

The card can remind employees about breaks, rest, or other important organizational messages. Such functions can support day-to-day work organization, especially in environments requiring strong operational discipline, but they do not replace the employer's obligations regarding proper working time planning and ensuring conditions for rest.

Support the use of personal protective equipment

TIMATE can remind employees about the obligation to use specific personal protective equipment in selected zones and can send organizational alerts if the implementation includes this function. This solution can support enforcement of the rules applicable in the facility, but it does not replace supervision, training, or physical safeguards at the workstation.

Analyze higher-risk areas and support accident prevention

The system makes it possible to analyze notifications and alerts in relation to where they occurred on the facility map. This can help identify zones requiring additional assessment, better traffic organization, procedural changes, or additional safeguards. Data of this kind should be treated as material supporting preventive decisions, not as the only source for assessing events.

Practice and monitor evacuation from facilities

The TIMATE system can support the organization of evacuation drills and situational awareness during a real evacuation by presenting supporting information about the number of people in the facility and at assembly points. Such data can facilitate coordination of activities and analysis of the course of drills. However, the system does not replace applicable evacuation procedures, signage, technical safeguards, or the decisions of persons responsible for safety.

Integrate TIMATE cards with access control

If your company already uses access control, you can integrate TIMATE cards with existing readers. The cards have a built-in RFID (NFC) tag that can be programmed remotely.
