An employee who works remotely records the working time by placing the TIMATE card against his/her private smartphone. At this moment, NFC opens a browser which displays the TIMATE system website. It does not require any installation of additional applications on the smartphone. The systems records the exact time when the employee starts working remotely.
When the TIMATE card is placed against the smartphone, the TIMATE system website opens and it can send the employee location to the system based on the smartphone GPS providing that the employee allows it. So each employee can regularly report his/her location, which is a convenient solution.
The access to tasks is easy - you just need to place the card against a smartphone with NFC. The smartphone will display the TIMATE system website which enables task assignment to employees and task commencement. In this way, you can easily record the working time spent on particular tasks.
Cards record the remote work duration, so employees needs to carry them all the time while working. By putting on and taking off the business ID, i.e. the TIMATE card, employees can make an easy distinction between the working time and rest/house activities. The card automatically records breaks when the employee puts the card away. The card also records the work intensity (seated work / motion) and the ambient temperature. In result, it is possible to determine if the work is done in line with the assigned duties.
The remote working time can be calculated at any time and combined with the on-site work. The card will show the total working time. The card also detects exits from the company premises and if they are work-related, they can be designated as “business errands”. This function allows to track and process trips to customer's premises, business travels and changes of the work location during the day.
