TIMATE cards can be used wherever the use of smartphones is inadvisable (e.g. in production halls or logistics facilities) due to the potential waste of time on browsing social media and other similar “distractors”. The card enables two-way communication with employees by means of the screen and two buttons.
TIMATE enables sending messages to cards with pre-defined or personalized content. A pre-defined messages will reach the employee within one minute as soon as the card is detected on the company's premises. A new message is indicated by a blinking LED and a beep, so it is really hard to miss.
You can send a message with a question. The employee will use of the one buttons to select one of the available simple replies to the question. The card saves this information in the system. This function makes it possible to make surveys, ask employees about task completion or confirm any decisions.
Messages can be sent to single cards or to all cards in the facility or the entire company. So it becomes easy to notify employees about different matters related to the operation of the company.
It can be arranged that upon completing a task the employee will press a button on the card to send a call to his or her manager. The manager will then go to see the employee. Review the processes related to production or logistics to determine if they can be improved with simple communication.
Messages can complement processes and include instructions such as “change the workstation to...”. It is possible to automate the messages and integrate them with processes in production or logistics with the use of the flexible API provided by the TIMATE system.
