Key features of CT-ET devices

MESH radio connectivity

Bidirectional data transmission with cards via the 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 MESH radio network.

Server connectivity

10 Mbit Ethernet communication with the server and PoE power supply for efficient installation.

Secure transmission

Hardware-based data encryption using the AES-128 algorithm.

Easy to maintain

Remote management from the application, AT command terminal and built-in web panel. Simple pairing and fast device diagnostics.

Facility-ready

Sealed IP67 housing, convenient wall and mast mounting, plus tamper detection features.

Scalable

One device can handle communication with up to 255 C1, C2, C3 cards and CT-ET routers. Radio range up to 50 m, and up to 100 m in selected variants.

CT-ET in practice

Reliable communication for TIMATE deployments

MESH radio router modes

Each CT-ET device can operate as a router, creating a MESH radio network based on IEEE 802.15.4 at 2.4 GHz. The TIMATE radio network is designed to work effectively in facility environments alongside Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth networks. Through the radio network, TIMATE cards send data to the gateway and then to the server. In the opposite direction, they receive schedules, tasks, messages and other work information. The router radio range is up to 50 m in open space.

Ethernet gateway mode

Each CT-ET device can operate as an Ethernet-connected gateway. Radio routers connect to the gateway and transmit card data from the MESH radio network. The radio transmission is designed to work alongside Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth networks. The gateway sends encrypted data to and from the server via Ethernet.

Data security

Data transmitted over the radio network and Ethernet is protected by a hardware-implemented AES-128 algorithm. If Ethernet connectivity is disrupted, gateways buffer data locally for a period of time. The devices also include diagnostic features supporting detection of interference and network irregularities.

Easy installation and tamper protection

The gateway housing allows wall mounting and also includes brackets for pole mounting. The housing is dust- and water-resistant with an IP67 rating. A deployment typically includes one gateway and an appropriate number of routers placed under ceilings or on walls, usually about 30 meters apart. Together, the devices form a MESH radio network used continuously by TIMATE cards. The gateways include anti-tamper safeguards and send technical status-change information to the server.

Remote configuration

The device can be fully managed remotely from the TIMATE application and, within the local network, also through the built-in web panel or an AT command terminal. Pairing with the radio network is done using the PAIR button, and device status is indicated by an LED. Tools for automatic installation monitoring are available.

Three gateway types

CT-ET-POE is a gateway powered by PoE or a 12–48V power supply, installed in halls and offices.

CT-ET-OUT is a PoE-powered gateway with a radio signal amplifier, extended range up to 100 m, and intended for outdoor use.

CT-ET-POR is a PoE-powered gateway equipped with an RFID card reader (MIFARE 13.56MHz/NFC).
